Hello, these are visual instructions on how to make stockings and simple panties for an Obitsu doll. Patterns are available for sale at my Etsy shop. I will demonstrate how to make stockings and simple panties for your doll.
Etsy shop name: Ruffled Crenellations

Supplies used for this project:
- stretchy fabric that stretches in both a horizontal and vertical direction (recommended for this project)
- a needle and tread
- some pins
- sharp scissors
- a chopstick
For younger crafters, be sure to have adult supervision when working with sharp, adhesive or hot things.
Pattern pieces are numbered for ease of comprehension of sewing instructions.
Stockings
Fold the fabric good side to good side. Line up the pattern piece with the centre fold of the folded fabric.
Pin it into place.
Leave extra fabric for the seam allowance when cutting the stocking out.
Optional: open up the top opening of the stocking where the leg will be passing through, fold in the seam allowance and hem it with a backstitch along the edge.
When done, fold the top over and pin it back into place.

Make sure the fabric is nice and smooth on both sides.
16- Using the stocking pattern as guideline, sew along the edge with a backstitch starting at the toe and continuing all the way to the top opening.
When finished, trim down the seam allowance as needed.
Note: Don't sew the opening closed, it can be really hard to get it on the doll's leg afterwards.
Note: the fabric does curve and curl when stitched, so don't freak out, it's supposed to do that.
Now with a handy chopstick, turn the stocking right side out.
Fit the stocking on the doll to confirm a good fit. Now make another to have a pair of stockings.
Panties
Fold a piece of stretchy fabric good side to good side. Line up the part marked fold on the panty pattern to the folded edge of the fabric and pin it in place.
Carefully cut out the panties only leaving some seam allowance for the seams marked 17 and 18 on the pattern.
Sew side 17 to backside 17, then side 18 to backside 18. Trim off any extra seam allowance as necessary.
Flip them right side out and they're done!
