The Jenny's in the Birthday Cocktail set have a different head mold and style of eye paint. 18 Jenny who also came out around this time also had a smaller head mold and features.

In the early 2000's a TV series called Kawaii Jenny came out along with a few dolls from the show. The dolls were Jenny with the early 2000's face (same as the doll above wearing the Yukata pictured above), her friends Arika and Nadeshiko, and one of the villains Sister B.

There was also a regular jenny and a starlight Jenny released in this series. Starlight Jenny had rounder eyes with gems that sparkled in them. Rainbow Jenny has similar eyes to her friend Marine, with the difference being a shine painted in the corners. Later on 15 age Jenny was released with rounder eyes compared to first Jenny.

The faceup of the pink haired Jenny is so 80's aesthetic!
ReplyDeleteYeah, she's pretty intensely '80s, though not as bad as Jem and Barbie from that era, with their two-tone eyeshadow up to their eyebrows. Their manufacturers said it themselves, they were 'Truly truly truly outrageous!'
