Lottie Dolls By Arku

My mom found this adorable Lottie doll at a thrift store July 5th, I was thrilled because I've been wanting to purchase one since last summer.  She is the English Country Garden Lottie and although she is missing all of her accessories I was pleased she still had her dress.

Mom said she had seen then for sale in town last winter.  Excited, I looked up all the places she regularly shops at online and found out our local Chapters store had them.  My mom being a huge animal figure, Playmobil and educational book collector, she didn't mind going to check Chapters with me later that day.  The store still had Spring Celebration Ballet Lottie, Snow Queen Lottie and the accessory pack with the puppy. The store's computer claimed there was one Lottie with horse set left in their inventory but sadly it was nowhere to be found and had probably already been purchased.  I bought the Snow Queen doll and a book for my mom. Now I have obtained two adorable Lottie dolls in one day and I may add more to my collection in the near future, as I am delighted with them.

A couple of days later I returned to Chapters and bought the Spring celebration Ballet doll and Biscuit the Beagle.  Lottie dolls have (quite deservingly) won awards for providing an excellent role model for kids and they have cute age-appropriate clothing and accessories and can stand on their own.

It's now nearing the end of January 2017 and cute little local toy shop my mom regularly visits downtown had four more Lottie doll accessory sets available, but no dolls. She called me to ask if I was looking for any of them, the sets in question being the Pandora the Persian Cat set, a soccer set, a scooter and a set with a brush and hairbands. Being a cat person I definitely wanted the set with the kitty. Mom said the lady at the store was going to order more Lottie stock in, so I'm hoping to acquire a couple more Lottie outfits and dolls for my collection.

Lots of good deals and fun finds this February, my collection has really grown. Got the Sweet Dreams out fit for regular price online but the other outfit, School Lottie and Pony Club Lottie were on an amazing sale.

Bought Stargazer at a shop downtown.

 

My mom found two more dolls at the thrift store. Now I can display and make more outfits.

The Snow Queen is nearly complete.

A few nude Lotties have been found at the thrift store to fill the outfits, but finding the Pandora Lottie only missing her hat with an other Pandora Cat set only missing the cat toy accessory is the best thrift find for these dolls by far.
